Pubic Piercing

A Pubic piercing is a male genital piercing. It sits at the base of the penis and is usually engraved horizontally. The corresponding piercing in women, the Christina piercing, which, however, engraved vertically.

Implementation

Since it is one of the surface piercings, healed it rather poorly and tends to grow out. To the healing time and minimize the likelihood of growing out the piercing is usually just stabbed at the crossing point to the penis. Before the jump to the penis can be raised to this line clearly defined. The genital area before the piercing must be free of pubic hair. The Healing of piercings can take from two to three months.

Jewellery

As piercing jewelry usually a curved barbell or a surface bar with a diameter of 1.6 millimeters is used. A ball closure ring can be used, but it should be paid to the right size, otherwise there is danger of growing out. Jewelry made of flexible PTFE is recommended for the initial application.
