Industrial Piercing

an Industrial piercing, also briefly Industrial or Scaffold piercing, the upper edge of the ear, both on the side close to the head and opposite at the bottom, pierced the outer edge so that a long barbell can be worn by both piercings.

The piercings are usually engraved with a diameter of 1.6 millimeters and the barbell is worn during this healing. However, it is also two ball closure ring or two separate, short barbells used for the initial application and later be replaced by a long barbell. Although this is faster healing results can be achieved, the precise arrangement of the two branch ducts, with this method difficult. This piercing is not possible for everyone because it is highly anatomy-dependent.

As with any ear cartilage piercing is also recommended to the Industrial, the method of Punch (the skin is in this case were, "punched out"). By digitizing the cartilage tissue is not only pushed aside, but removed completely. This will be achieved much faster healing results.

The healing time is:

* Between six and twelve months (when pierced piercing)
* Between two and four weeks (when punched piercing)
