The Inner Conch, also known as Sadhu piercing sits in the hollow in the middle of the pinna. The Outer Conch, alternatively referred to as Upper sadhu piercing sits above this hollow and could be described as a deeper compound Helix Piercing be why conch and helix piercing are often confused.
